【摘要】:Correlationbetweenresultsofthistestandoutdoorexposuretestsofporcelainenamelscoloredwithcadmiumsulfo-selenidepigmentshowsthatthecupricsulfatetestisaneffectiveindicatorofthetendencyforsuchcoatingstoexperienceappreciablecolorchangesduringweathering.Thecupricsulfatetestisconsideredusefulforspecificationacceptance,qualitycontrol,andresearchanddevelopmentpurposes.1.1Thistestmethodcoversonlyporcelainenamelscontainingthecadmium-sulfideorcadmiumsulfo-selenidetypesofpigments.Thepurposeofthetestistodetectthosered,yellow,orange,andsomegreenporcelainenamelsthatarelikelytoexperienceappreciablecolorchangesuponexposuretoatmosphericcorrosion.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
