【摘要】:1.1Theserequirementscovercomputerizedcentral-stationautomationsystemsintendedforuseincentral-station,proprietary,remoteandsubsidiaryburglar-,andfire-alarmapplicationsforthepurposeofautomatingthesignalhandlingandprocessingofchange-of-statussignalsgeneratedbyreceivers.Incaseoffailureofanautomationsystem,thereceivingequipmentisreliedonforreceivingandrecordingchange-of-statussignalsandtheprovisionofanaudibleandvisualsignalthatidentifiesthesourceandtypeofsignalthatrequiresoperatorattention.Thesesystemsareintendedtobeinstalledinaccordancewiththefollowing:a)TheNationalElectricalCode,NFPA70;b)TheNationalFireAlarmCode,NFPA72;andc)TheStandardforCentral-StationAlarmServices,UL827.1.2Aproductthatcontainsfeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsnewordifferentfromthosecoveredbytherequirementsinthisstandard,andthatinvolvesariskoffireorofelectricshockorinjurytopersonsshallbeevaluatedusingappropriateadditionalcomponentandend-productrequirementstomaintainthelevelofsafetyasoriginallyanticipatedbytheintentofthisstandard.Aproductwhosefeatures,characteristics,components,materials,orsystemsconflictwithspecificrequirementsorprovisionsofthisstandarddoesnotcomplywiththisstandard.Revisionofrequirementsshallbeproposedandadoptedinconformancewiththemethodsemployedfordevelopment,revision,andimplementationofthisstandard.
