【摘要】:ThisEuropeanPrestandardisdesignedtoimprovetheauthenticationofindividualusersofhealthcareITsystem,bystrengtheningtheautomaticsoftwareproceduresassociatedwiththemanagementofuseridentifiersandpasswords,withoutresortingtoadditionalhardwarefacilities.ThisEuropeanPrestandardappliestoallinformationsystems(hereaftercalledsystems)withinthehealthcareenvironmentthathandleorstoresensitivepersonidentifiablehealthinformation,usingpasswordsastheonlymeansofauthenticatingtheentereduseridentifier,i.e.,verifyingtheclaimedidentityofauser.SystemsthatfallwithinthescopeofthisEuropeanPrestandardincludeforexampleelectronicpatientrecordsystems,patientadministrativesystemsandlaboratorysystems,containingpersonalhealthinformation.ThisEuropeanPrestandarddoesnotapplytosystemsoutsidethehealthcareenvironment.Neitherdoesitapplytosystemswithinthehealthcareenvironmentthatuseothermeansofidentificationandauthentication,suchassmartcards,biometricmethodsorothertechnicalfacilities.#,,#
