【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesrequirementsforthedesign,fabricationandperformanceofwindowsandglazeddoorsetsmadefromPVC-Uextrudedhollowprofiles.ThisBritishStandardappliestowindowsanddoorsetsmanufacturedfromPVC-Uhollowprofilesincorporatingfusionweldedcornerjoints.Itappliestowindowsanddoorsfabricatedintoframesinafactory,tobeinstalledvertically(within15°)intotheexternalfaceofbuildings,assingleormulti-lightunits,incoupledassemblieswhenappropriate,ofthefollowingtypes:a)windows:1)hinged:side-hung(openinorout),top-hung(openout),bottom-hung(openin),tiltandturnorturnbeforetilt;2)projecting:side-hung(openinoropenout)andtop-hung(openoutorreversible);3)pivoted:horizontalandvertical(hungcentrallyoroff-centre)includingreversible;4)sliding:horizontalandvertical;5)side-hung:fullyreversible;6)fixedlight;b)doors:1)singleleafsingle-swingdoorswithorwithoutsidelightsandtoppanels;2)doubleleafsingle-swingdoorswithorwithoutsidelightsandtoppanels.Itisapplicabletoassembliesinwhichanyframememberisnotlongerthan3m.Itdoesnotapplytocurtainwallsthatspanacrosshorizontalstructuralmembersoffloorsbutisapplicabletowindowswithinacurtainwallingsystem.Itisapplicabletoassembliesuptothepointofinstallation.NOTEGuidanceontheevaluationofconformityisgiveninAnnexA.GuidanceondurabilityandrecyclingisgiveninAnnexB.
